Overboad !?

Do we get overboard with what we get or achieve?

Everybody everyday try to achieve something or make a way to achieve that something. But when we get it... do we tend to get over the top and forget everything we have been through.
Here i mean.... people who have helped us, or not even who helped us but the group/section of people from where we came and reached to top.

It could be the circumstances we have gone through, people we met, things we have been through, things we used to share, etc...
Why does it happen when we reach to some level, we look the levels below with that different eye and attitude... why sudden change?

Is that so? We climb up and forget the stairs we came from! Why are stairs ahead of us always seems shiny and the stiars behind us become part of dark past which we never wanna bring up or share or be proud of?

Not saying that I am like this... just a general topic and thinking about it. On the other hand I think we should see everything that happened to us during our journey from one level to another in a way, as those are the things that made us what we are (hopefully good).

One should think (while standing on a higer level) that he was there where other people in lower levels are. One should be proud of what they achieved but not oblivious to the fact... you used to be in the same place carrying out similar jobs... now its a better chance for you to make a difference for the people under you so they have better process or guidance.
